Who is V for Photography
I learned a tiny bit of photography from my brother ages ago (he´s the real master), but I succumbed to the point and shoot (first analog and then digital) , after seeing the results of my trip to Japan with an "advanced" point and shot Canon S70 I started picking up interest in photography
A few years back (2007)) I got my Canon 400D and since them I´ve been caught in this world first investing in filters (I´m a passionate of Cokin ND Grads and polarizing) and then in some modest lenses (50mm Canon, it´s incredible how much can you enjoy one of the cheapest lenses in the market), Canon 10-22 (2nd hand after a good mate upgraded to fullframe), Sigma 50-15/2.8 (Not a big zoom but beautiful bokeh at affordable price) and finally "my precious"... Canon 24-70/2.8. After investing in "glass" I decided to upgrade the camera and I recently purchased the Canon 7D...
... if you see somewhere in the world a guy with a big smile wearing a grey photography vest, a Lowepro side bag full to the rim and a tighly gripped Canon 7D usually with a 24-70 lense.... pretty much the chance that he will be me...
I mainly shot landscapes photos but from time to time I enjoy putting my 50mm lense or some macro rings... and "going small" (usually around the keukenhof time...you don't know what it is? first check my photos then go to wikipedia)
I don´t like changes with Photoshop (Maybe because I don't know how to use it and I don't have time) but I do an small amount of postprocessing with Bibble Pro & Lightroom, HDR with Photomatix and Panorama with Panorama Factory. ... So that's more or less V for Photography... if you want to see how I look... fat chance... I'm always behind the camera (except when my wife forces me to join a family photo)
